Livigno in brief
Livigno features two seasons: summer and winter, interrupted by
two months of transition: May and October.
During the wintertime - generally from November to April - Livigno
and its landscape are covered with a dry and glittering blanket
of snow. That's why Livigno is one of the most renowned resorts
in the Alps, for practicing all kinds of winter sport on the highest
and most elegant level - Alpine ski, downhill, snowboarding, freestyle
and telemark.
During the summertime - from June to September - the landscape is
completely different: everything is glowing in a wonderful, thick
green with coloured flowers and lots of conifers, growing up to
2.200 metres throughout the valley. What a wonderful contrast against
the deep blue sky.....
