Women

The women in Livignos always played a very important role in family life. Women didn't only rule in the house and were responsible for the upbringing of the children, but they even helped harvesting and took care of the animals. They even replaced the men, while they were out looking for work in the bigger cities.
It was fundamental the Livigno's women knew how to manage the household and the family's property.
