Architecture
The architecture of this church is quite different from the others
in Livigno - mainly because it doesn't have the same harmonic proportions
as the other churches. This one is much higher and it's front consists
of various oval shaped windows. Inside, a wooden balustrade divides
the apse through the middle ship. The bell tower is lower than the
front of the church, has a window and one bell. Originally it was
an onion tower (see: A. Martinelli, "Livigno, Valle Convalli
Chiese Contrade"), as also many other churches in the village.
Being renovated the form of the tower was changed and got its actual
form.
Note
Above the simple shaped wooden altar there is a plaster statue made
depicting the Madonna of Lourdes.
