On the wooden altar there is an inscription, saying: "Virgo
mater ave, qua mundus solvitur a ve; sit semper sine ve, qui tibi
dicit ave - 1751" (Virgin Mary, Ave, who redeemed world from
the evil, so that everyone who praise you, may be redeemed forever
from his sorrows).
This
inscription was probably made in the year 1768 and may be a work
by the artists Mattias Peder and Giovanni Fait.
The small
cupola above the font seems to be a work by Salomon di Tubre (1649).
The holy-water
font integrated in the wall on the right hand side of the entrance
was made in the year 1659 by the artist Bernardo da Cepina.
The
frescoes were fixed in the year 1913 by Luigi Tagliaferri: On the
side of the apse the scene of the Eucharist is portrayed; in the
second part the coronation of Virgin Mary can be seen; in the third
part the Immaculate Conception is portrayed.
